Browser Instructions/Universal Mode
To get started, go to https://standata.app/ in your browser.
You’ll be asked if you want to connect to a Bluetooth-enabled workstation or if you would like to use the app in Universal Mode.
- The Universal mode allows users of any sit-stand workstation to create a transition plan and set transition reminders to improve desk usage from their desktop or mobile device and to maximize the proven health benefits of sit-stand workstations.
- The Bluetooth or Connected mode when used in conjunction with a blue-tooth enabled sit-stand desk from 40 different manufacturers, allows users to directly control and monitor their desk from their desktop or mobile device, create a transition plan, establish goals, and program memory settings for proper heights.
Click the “Universal” button.
After selecting Universal Mode, you will see the app’s home screen.
If your browser is set to display wider than 890 pixels, you will see the app displayed in three columns. If it is set between 692 and 890 pixels, the app will display in two columns. And if your screen is smaller than 692 pixels, the app will display in one column. The responsive programing of the app allows you to customize how you want to view your screen and also allows you to keep your app open while taking up less valuable screen space.

From the home screen, regardless of your display, you can access Support where you will be able to find more detailed information on using the app.
In one column mode, you can also access the Settings screen prior to logging in.
However, to view your data or to store your height, update your profile or create a transition plan, you must first login.
If you have questions about the items you see, click the “info” icon to get more information about a particular feature or subject.
Login or Sign Up
Click “Log In” in the top right corner of the screen when in two- or three-column view. To login from one-column view, click “Settings” from the lower left corner and then click Log In in the “General” section.
Enter your email address and password.
If you have forgotten your password, click “Forgot Password” and then enter your email address in the popup box to receive a password reset email.
If you do not have a login, click the “Sign Up” button.
To create a new account, enter your email address and password in the passwords and password confirmation fields
You will receive an email with a verification link to complete the registration process.
If you do not receive a verification email within 1-2 minutes, please check your Junk / Spam / Clutter folders.
Once you have successfully created your account, you can login using the steps above.
View Your Data
Logged in users can view the transition data for the day, the week, or the month.
Simply click “My Data” at the bottom of the browser screen and then use the tabs at the top to select the desired data range.
Click on any of the 4 circles to see specific daily data for the timeframe selected.
Set Your Height
By setting your height, you can receive recommended workstation height settings for sitting and standing.
Click the Settings icon.
Click My Height from the Preferences section.
Drag the scrollbar near the bottom of the screen until your height is showing in the “Your Height” bar.
Click “Set Recommended Heights” so that you can refer to these settings when you adjust your desk or workstation for your new posture.
Log into your account.
Go to the Home screen which is accessible via the StanData logo in two or three column views or via the “Home” link at the bottom of the screen in one-column view.
Click the “Play” button in the “Posture” section.
The app will ask you to set your initial posture. Simply click the text that applies.
The Home screen will then show your current posture as Sitting or Standing and will display a “Pause” button.
If you leave your desk, simply click the “Pause” button to return to an “Away” status. When you return, click the “Play” button and you will be prompted to select your posture.
To change your posture from sitting to standing or standing to sitting, click the “Pause” button and then simply click the “Play” button and select your new posture from the prompt.
By setting a transition plan, you can receive notifications and reminders to change your posture.
To set a Transition plan:
If you have never set a transition plan or if you have selected “none” previously, click the “Learn More” button on your Home Screen. You will be asked if you want to choose a transition plan. Click “OK.”
If you have priviously set a transition plan, you can go to your Settings to select new transition plan.
Select one of the recommended Transition Plans designed to optimize your workstation usage.
You can also click “Settings” and then click “Transition Plan” in the Preferences section to select a plan.
Select one of the recommended Transition Plans designed to optimize your workstation usage. Your selection will be indicated with an orange arrow.
Once you have made a selection, use the back arrow at the top of the screen or select the “Home” icon to return to the Home screen and see your plan.
Your selected plan will appear below the clock icon and your timer will begin counting down to your next transition.
If you would like to transition sooner, click the “Transition” button. You will be prompted to confirm that you have changed your posture to sitting or standing depending on your starting position.
Two and Three Column Views.
Information you access via the settings in one-column view is accessible via the left column in the two- and three-column views.
For example, to change your transition plan, simply click “Transition Plan” in the navigation. The plan will appear in the middle column in the three column view or at the top of the right column in two-column view.
